Our Mission
The mission of the Braniff Graduate Salon is to facilitate the discussion of core texts and to promote interdisciplinary dialogue among the graduate students and faculty of The Institute for Philosophic Studies and The Braniff School of Liberal Arts at The University of Dallas.

Kathryn Davis
After earning her B.A. in History from the University of Kansas in 2004, Kathryn went on to study philosophy at the Pontifical Lateran Univeristy in Rome. She received her M.A. in English from the University of Dallas in May 2008. She is currently pursuing doctoral studies in literature at the University of Dallas.
Ruth Anne Hilker

Jason Stevens
Jason is a second-year doctoral student of literature at UD. He received a B.A. in English from Aquinas College in Michigan. His academic interests include theoretical and generic intersections between lyric poetry, rhetoric, and narrative, particularly in the early modern and modernist periods, as well as in Hebrew poetry.
Paul Weinhold
Paul earned a B.A. in History at Covenant College in 2004 and completed a Master’s degree in English at the University of Dallas in 2008. From 2004-07, he taught American history, European history, English language, and English literature at Covenant Christian Academy, an area private school. He is currently pursing doctoral studies in literature at the University of Dallas, where his research interests include the sonnet tradition, rhetoric, and Shakespeare.
